The Museum, which extends over about 2,000 square metres, retraces the history of printing through the centuries and presents visitors with numerous items brought back to working condition by skilful restoration. The educational workshops (paper-making by hand; composition with movable type; transformation of paper into books and notebooks) for children (from primary to secondary school) are designed to give an in-depth understanding of ancient printing and binding techniques, a significant heritage of human inventiveness.

Giorni e orari di apertura: dal lunedì al venerdì, dalle ore 9.30 alle ore 12.30, sabato dalle 10.00 alle 12.30 e dalle 15.00 alle 17.30, domenica chiuso. L’accesso al museo è consentito solo con visite guidate per gruppi, classi e associazioni. È possibile concordare visite individuali.
